Welcome to Connect, the new quarterly update for our suppliers.

Connect will keep you informed of the latest developments at Buying Solutions, update you on key public sector procurement issues and provide you with an opportunity to input your views and suggestions.

The overall aim is to exchange information and ideas to enable us to work together more closely and effectively.

As many of you will be aware, we have worked hard to focus and simplify our offer and have developed a new brand with customer satisfaction at its heart. Your continued support is vital in enabling us to deliver that promise and I am confident it will allow us to achieve our goal of generating at least £1 billon worth of efficiency savings for the tax payer each year from 2010/11.
